Snow conditions persist into June in South East Alaska. Tours before June 21st should expect to encounter snow and have a slower, more difficult trip on the tour. All clients will be provided with snowshoes on this tour when snow conditions require them.

Guided trips all the way to the Laughton Glacier are only possible once the snow has melted enough from the previous winter. All clients will be provided with snowshoes on this tour when snow conditions require them.

Early springtime sometimes still has snow on the ground, in that event, snowshoes will be provided if necessary!
We operate in Skagway, Alaska’s premier cruise destination! Our season begins in late April and concludes in early October. All of our expeditions operate in the Tongass National Forest, rain or shine! Due to variable snow conditions on the trails in the first half of the season (April-June), we provide snowshoes to all our clients when the conditions require.
